How it works

Start from a Serato library or music files on your computer. Send selected music to your phone, make edits on either device, and review changes before publishing them back.

Start with your library

Cueport reads your Serato library or builds a local library from your music files on your computer. Your music and library data remain local.

  • Serato library. Read crates, subcrates, tracks, hot cues, BPM, key, colors, comments, and beatgrid markers from your local _Serato_ folder.
  • Cueport Direct. Add music files instead of linking Serato. Cueport keeps the audio in place and stores collections, cues, notes, colors, restore points, and analysis in its own database.
  • Local analysis. Compute BPM, key, waveform columns, and beatgrid markers from audio on your machine.
Send music to your phone

Pair the phone app with your computer over the local network, then send selected collections and tracks to the phone for browsing and playback.

  • Local playback. Play tracks from local files while browsing collections, with waveform context, cues, and beatgrid markers alongside the player.
  • Cue points and notes. Add or edit hot cues and notes whether you use Serato or Cueport Direct.
  • Phone companion. Send selected collections to the phone app, cache tracks for playback, and send phone edits back to the paired computer for review.
Review before publishing

Cueport queues edits in a local working layer so you can review what changed before updating Serato files or keeping Cueport Direct changes in its database.

  • Local editing layer. Cueport marks pending edits so you can see what changed across tracks and collections.
  • Publish on approval. Serato edits write back to MP3s and crate files only when you choose to publish. Cueport Direct edits remain in their own database.
  • Backups and restore points. Cueport creates safety copies before updating Serato. Cueport Direct manages edits and restore points in a separate database.
